The Friends of MacGregor Point are always looking for individuals to assist with the festivals and activities we run each year.
You can also assist with resource management initiatives, such as invasive species control, removal and trail maintenance.
A great way for outdoors oriented high school students to meet their community service requirements!
The Huron Fringe Birding Festival committee is looking for people to be hike coordinators, help with set-up and take-down and help with the BBQs.
The Huron Fringe Birding Festival runs over two 4-day weekends after Victoria Day each May/June.

The Wild for the Arts Festival is looking for committee members and volunteers to help run the Festival. We are currently forming a new committee and cannot run the festival next year without your help!
This unique festival features an artists' campground studio tour and sale, live musicians, a writer in campsite residence and many other activities.
The Wild for the Arts Festival is typically held in September.

Resource Management is an important part of keeping MacGregor Point in pristine environmental health.
During the year we will be seeking volunteers to assist with activities such as:
- The Great Shoreline Clean-up
- Trail up-keep
- Invasive Species Control/Removal
- Research Initiatives (North American Butterfly Association Butterfly Count & Christmas Bird Count)

If you enjoy interacting with people and have a passion for learning about the natural environment, this is a great way to get involved.
The Park offers many different types of programs throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons, so be sure to check into the current program schedule for upcoming events. This is a great way for high school students to meet their community service requirements.
