Wild for the Arts!

Wild for the Arts is an annual festival we run right here in the Wild for the Arts park. It is a community-based cultural event that celebrates nature as a source of inspiration for creativity! We offer a full schedule of events and activities amid the autumn beauty of MacGregor Point Provincial Park, for adults and children alike. Featured are nature-inspired visual art, music, and written works.

The Friends of MacGregor Point Park are happy to announce that Wild for the Arts returns for another year!

On September 15 and 16 2018, Wild for the Arts once again will celebrate nature as a source of creative inspiration. The festival gives artists of all disciplines the opportunity to share, display and sell their work in an outdoor environment surrounded by MacGregor Point's autumn beauty.

Our popular Campsite Studio Tour lets you leisurely stroll from artist to artisan viewing paintings, pastels, collages, photography, sculpture, stained glass, decorative art, pottery, jewelry, quilting, weaving, woodworking and even written works.

Admission is free. Come for the art. Come for the entertainment. Our festival also includes live music, art and writing workshops, theatre workshops and family fun! The Campsite Studio Tour is scheduled to run Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Nipissing Campground's electrified campsites in the Fox Way Loop.

Want to become a Wild for the Arts Vendor?  The entry fee is $75.00 per site, which includes entry fee and Friday and Saturday nights' camping fee. Each site may have one to three participants as per park rules. For 2017 artists will have the opportunity to offer workshops at their own designated times, supply their own materials and set their own workshop participant fee.
