MacGregor Point is home to 360 campsites nested within
three unique campgrounds
providing both electrical and non-electrical services.
The campsites within MacGregor Point are well treed and very private. With all comfort station (hot and cold running water and showers) facilities centrally located, early morning walks to the showers are never that far.
Each site comes with:
- Campfire pit
- 2 picnic tables
- Permit post for your camping permit
- Electrical sites also include an electrical outlet pedestule
Reservations are recommended and can be made through the Ontario Parks website.
|Algonquin Campground has both electrical and non-electircal campsites. Pull-through sites are available. Each of the three loops in the campground has a comfort station. One campground loop, Birch Boulevard, is open year round. During the winter, electrical campsites and sixteen yurts are available.|
Nipissing Campground's non-electrical campsites are popular with tents and tent-trailers. Campsites in Nipissing are an easy walk to camper's beach and the playground.
Huron Campground has back-in campsites that are both non-electrical and electrical. Open from May to the end of October, this campground is the furthest from the Gate Office. This campground is also radio free.
The Juniper Woods Group Campground has been developed for organized groups. It consists of two areas each of which can accommodate 36 people. One group site is walk-in only. Running water, vault toilets, a communal fire pit and picnic tables are available. There is no electricity in this part of the park.
Group campsites must be reserved through the park.
