The New Bird Blind is Finished!!!
The Friends of MacGregor Point Park have constructed a Bird Blind veiwing station on the Ducks Unlimitied Wetland along the Tower Trail to enhace the experience of birders, artists and photographers in the Park.
The Bird Blind increases the likelihood of visitors seeing more birds and wildlife in their natural setting. Birders and nature enthusiasts conceal themselves within the blind so that they can watch many species in their own habitat.
The inclusion of this platform would increase the reputation of the Park among naturalists' clubs, artists and photographers and bring more visitors to the Park and surrounding area.
Many people and organizations within the MacGregor Point Provincial Park community have contributed toward the construction of this Bird Blind. The Friends of MacGregor Point Park recognize the following significant contributing organizations.
| Bruce Resource Stewardship Network | Nuclear Waste Management Organization |
| Huron Fringe Birding Festival | Rotary Club of Southampton |
| Huron Fringe Field Naturalists | TD Friends of the Environment Foundation |
