Bill Fitzgerald

Bill’s interest/obsession in archaeologh has resullted in years of local archaeological research into local First Nations cultures.  He led several archaeological studies at Inverhuron Provincial Park prior to the reopening of the campground.  A stickler for detail, Bill has combined his love of prehistory with an interest in the historical use of areas such as the Townsite of Inverhuron.  We are fortunate to have Bill, who has received his B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology from McMaster University (Hamilton) and Ph.D. in Anthropology from McGill University (Montreal) as one of our leaders.
