Trails

Seven trails for hiking and cycling provide over 21 kilometres of trails which allow you to explore many areas of the park.  The Huron Fringe Trial is entirely on boardwalk ensuring that the park's natural environment is easily accessible to all.  Follow the Tower Trail at the south end of the park to the viewing tower, built by the Friends of MacGregor Point.  It provides a panoramic view of some of the park's wetlands and excellent opportunities for bird watching.  The Old Shore Road Trial parallels the shoreline.  This trail, which follows an historic transportation route, opens up wonderful views of Lake Huron.  The Deer Run Trial is a safe off-road access route between the campgrounds and the Park Store.  Hiking the Lake Ridge Trail introduces you to areas of the park where early homesteadrers attempted to farm.
